# Block Counting

The Block Counting portion of the AFOQT measures your ability to see into a “three-dimensional” stack of blocks. Each of the 30 items in this section asks that you determine how many pieces are touched by the numbered blocks.

**Subtest Information: Time: 4.5 Minutes; **

1) B (Block 1 touches three blocks: one to the left, one below, & one to the right).

2) B (Block 2 touches three blocks: one below, & two to the right).

3) C (Block 3 touches four blocks: one above, one below, & two to the right).

4) C (Block 4 touches four blocks: one above, one to the left, & two below).

5) B (Block 5 touches three blocks: two to the left & one below).

6) B (Block 6 touches three blocks: one to the left, one below, & one to the right).

7) E (Block 7 touches four blocks: one above, two below, & one to the right).

8) D (Block 8 touches five blocks: one above, two to the left, & two below).

9) D (Block 9 touches five blocks: one above, one to the left, two below, & one to the right).

10) C (Block 10 touches four blocks: three above & one to the right).
